1.Do this plug your ipod into either computer and when itunes comes up go into your ipods info page make sure you enable disk use and manually manage music by clicking both of these boxes and hitting apply.
2.Go into your itunes library and take all the songs you want and drag into your ipod when your done eject your ipod and plug into your second computer. add all your music and your done.
3.There was nothing wrong with your ipod its like that for people who want to have their computer put the music in their library everytime they plug in their ipod.
