How to Make a cute fish felt brooch

What you need: - Tracing paper - Coloured felt - Needle and thread - Brooch pin or safety pin - Stuffing - Glue - Decorations e.g. sequins, beads, pens etc. How to do: 1. Make a template of the animal shape using tracing paper. Put two bits of felt together, pin the template to the top. Cut around the template and remove the pins. 2. Sew the two shapes together with big tacking stitches. Sew close to the edge with tiny stitches, leaving a gap at the bottom. 3. Take out the tacking stitches, carefully put some stuffing into the hole. Sew up the hole. Glue on any other body parts e.g. the ear. Draw an eye with a felt-tip pen. Turn the animal over. Sew the safety pin onto the back. 4. Now for the fun bit ?decoration. Make a pattern with your other materials ?e.g. sequins for fish scales. Other shapes you could make include a heart, flower, fish, pig or cat.
